I agree, rules are same for all mods, games, and servers.
I dont think we need to do different rules on every server.

Imo more discussion is needed with that "kamikaze",
cus it's kinda selfkill, and when you fail it,
with trying to kill enemy with it,
it's selfkill in fight which isnt allowed.

You are contradicting yourself in the same post.. I don't see why the rules would be different for modifications, since the feature is only included in ETNam and EliteMod. If it's not included, the rule won't be applied either.

Kamikaze is allowed IMO.. it's feature of ETNam and it decreases the covert ops' skill who's using it, too. IMO that's a fair trade, because when people do it too much they will not be able to do it any more.

About tripmine stuff: just allow it... You can defuse it with pliers, the knife and you can jump over them. And, of course, you can spot them and let them explode.

enemy got kill for that, we still dont allow that.

It's an attempt to get a kill. Though you kill yourself with it, IMO it should be allowed.. Otherwise Blokkie can disable it with g_kamikaze I think (change the value to 0).

Doubtful question.. IMO it's a sort of defence for the team which is holding the flag at that moment, so that's why I would allow it there. It's not possible to put the mines at the spawn itself (at least not in Oasis), so you can only block the exits with it.

Kamikaze is a part of ETnam, and a player in kamikaze can still be killed by another, so I don't count it as same as bind [killplayer] which kills immediatly and is infight selfkill.

My idea with etnam is to keep the mod as pure as is. Which means I don't want to fiddle to much with the features.

Exept lowering the damage of the thumper (M79) I suggest we keep the kamikaze because - like others say - it's part of the mod .
And to be honest , I'm freaking scared every time I see a nutcase running towards me screaming and waving his arms :)

we should follow rulebook,

In my opinion kamikaze is not the same as /kill. You have enough time to kill enemy if you see him running at you using kamikaze.

And bout tripmine. Its same as mines, you can put them at spawns at some maps but they were not disabled because of this, so just using them on spawn exists which are not capturable should not be allowed. They are very helpful if you want to defend cp or flag entrance.
