Poll: What server settings would you like to see?

That's exactly is the problem... the sniper noobs on the roofs. And what about when you and some like you is not on the server ??? It will be full with sniper noobs... but any way since it never happen it useless to talk about this anymore.

sniper limit is quite 50/50 acctualy, first round i played had lots of snipers on roof and a lot missed. ofc thats what heli is for and 2nd round or so quite few snipers on roof. it was 64 player map

The good thing about roof campers is they usually can't snipe for sh*t ^^ Just don't stand still when they have a line of sight on ya and you should be all set.

just take xm-25 airburst and clear those roof campers up..so many of them hate me already and calling me cheater etc...its even bigger fun then to knife them from behind and iam looking forward to troll them good when full game comes out

Personally I would prefer the same settings like on the 1000 ticket BF3 server. After all, it's what made our BF3 server to become so popular.

I really hope that it was the People who made the server great and not the settings.

Also, normal was the only way in BF3 since they removed custom a few weeks after release.

3D spotting should be on.

Normal settings would be good. a lot of players are filtering servers for "Normal" settings, so servers with "Custom" settings might not even show for a lot of players.

3D spotting is a poplar feature and in a normal-core server it is essential to be turned on in my opinion. people are used to have that function and if the server doesn't have it, they will play on other servers.

I barely notice 3d spot being off, I use the map anyway. Server still fills up very nicely once there's 1-2 players filling it. =)

I was skeptical towards the 3D spotting being turned off at first. But after talking to Faddn, playing myself and thinking about it for a while I realized that not only do the players benefit from it in the long run, due to not having to rely on the little red blips above the enemy's head, but the server and the community benefits from it aswell. We will get more skilled players, more players that are after the good old feel of Battlefield and players that really know what they're doing. Not saying we don't welcome people new to the franchise, but we get a better reputation for housing the more skilled players.
Do you agree, or am I totally out of line here?

We may get more skilled players and I can't say thats a problem for me. But I also think that the community will bind closer because we have to rely more on teamwork and VOIP.

Another thing is demand, there is allready quite few servers with 3d spot and normal settings, it is few factors that keep players returing to our server (normal settings) since there allready is plenty normal servers.

Last there is official/normal servers, drawing alot of people from ranked/normal servers since they are pissed at bad admins, can't swear or/and be mean against other players.

I'd like to post a suggestion.

Today I was playing on the server, and I noticed the sniper-class is a highly wanted thing.
It kinda outbalances the game. Could there be a limit on those classes on the server?
